Ordering

1. CHECKING ORDER STATUS:

TIDE & POOL will send you a confirmation email once we receive your order. When your order has shipped, we will send you an additional email that includes the UPS tracking number for your package. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours after your package has been shipped by tideandpool.com for the tracking information to appear in the UPS system. Upon receiving shipping confirmation, you may visit http://www.ups.com/tracking/tracking.html to verify order status.

2. CANCELLATIONS:

Unfortunately, once an order is submitted, we are unable to change or cancel the order. Please see the RETURNS section for more information on our return and exchange policies.

3. PAYMENT METHODS:

tideandpool.com accepts the following credit cards: American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Credit cards must have a U.S. billing address. tideandpool.com does not accept cash, checks, or money orders.

4. USING A PROMOTION CODE:

From time to time, TIDE & POOL may have special offers that can be applied to orders by using a promotion code. In order to take advantage of these promotions, please enter the promotion code in the space provided on the “Shopping Bag” page and click “Apply” before proceedin. The value of the promotion will be applied to your order and appear in the “Discount” field.

5. SALES TAX

A 9% sales tax will be applied to the product total on all orders shipped within California. Residents in other states are responsible for complying with the tax laws that apply to online purchases in their respective states.

When making a purchase on tideandpool.com you can become a TIDE & POOL account holder by registering with your email address and a password. With an account, you can save time on future visits by storing shipping and billing information for a faster and easier checkout process. Any information you provide is kept secure and will never be sold to outside parties. 9. CARE INSTRUCTIONS

TIDE & POOL towels are designed with enduring quality in mind. With proper care our vibrant designs will be a part of many sunny days to come.

  • Machine-wash your towel on cold and before first use.
  • Tumble dry your towel at a low temperature.
  • Avoid using fabric softener. It can reduce your towel’s absorbency.
  • Do not bleach or dry clean your towel.
  • If your terry snags in the course of use, we recommend trimming any loose threads with a sharp scissors, never pulling.
  • Our fiber reactive dyes resist fading caused by chlorine, salt water and exposure to sunlight during regular use. However, please do not store your towels in direct-sunlight.
  • It is natural for velour terry to crease and wrinkle in shipping and storage. Please avoid picking, pulling or aggressively brushing at creases or swirls in your towel, as this can cause permanent damage. Any stubborn creases and or wrinkles will come out when you wash and dry your towel before its first use.

You do not need to open a TIDE & POOL account to receive emails from us. Shipping & Handling

11. SHIPPING METHODS & COSTS

tideandpool.com currently offers shipping via UPS.

Please note that orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico will incur a service charge of $25.00 in addition to the shipping rates above. Please allow 7-10 days for delivery to these locations.

Unfortunately at this time, we do not offer:

  • International shipping
  • Saturday/Holiday delivery
  • Delivery to a PO Box or Military Post Offices

12. ORDER PROCESSING

Your credit card will be charged with your order total at the time your order is placed. We will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock.

Express orders are given top priority. Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST on Friday will begin processing the following Monday.

Standard ground orders typically ship within 72 hours after order processing begins (pending product availability and credit card verification, which can sometimes cause delays.)

13. REFUSAL OF DELIVERY

If you refuse delivery of a tideandpool.com order, it will be returned to us. You will receive a full refund for the merchandise and any tax, excluding shipping charges, which are non-refundable.

14. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Unfortunately, tideandpool.com does not ship outside the United States at this time. Credit cards must have a U.S. billing address.

Returns & Exchanges

15. RETURN POLICY:

Our goal is to make our customers happy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it, with no questions asked.

tideandpool.com accepts returns of full-price merchandise within 30 days of the purchase date, and sale merchandise within 14 days of the purchase date. We will only accept returns for items that have not been used, laundered or altered in any way. All tags and original packaging must be included with your return. We are happy to give you a refund, exchange, or store credit for items returned according to the specifications above. Please allow 2 -3 weeks for the processing of your return.

16. EASY RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:

Return shipping is offered compliments of tideandpool.com through a prepaid UPS return label. Just follow these simple steps to return or exchange your purchase:

  1. Call (562) 277-1382 or email customerservice@tideandpool.com to receive your prepaid UPS return label and a Return Authorization Number (RA#), which is valid for 7 days. If you would like to exchange merchandise, you can order your new items at this time. (Note that we will bill your credit card for the new merchandise when you place your exchange request. We will process your credit for the returned merchandise, less your original shipping fee, as soon as we receive it from you.)
  2. We will send you an email that includes your prepaid UPS return label. Print out the label.
  3. Using the appropriate code number from the list below, please indicate the reason for the return on the front of the invoice you received with your item(s).

    (1): not as depicted (2): changed mind (3): incorrect item (4):defect/damage (5): other (please explain)

  4. Pack your return securely, in the original package if possible, and include a copy of your invoice.
  5. Affix your UPS return label to the package. Make sure no other tracking labels are showing.
  6. Write your RA# clearly on the outside of your return package.
  7. Take the package to your nearest UPS drop off location.

Please send your returns to the return address on your invoice/packing slip. tideandpool.com is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit if you do not use the TIDE & POOL prepaid UPS return label.

17. DAMAGED ITEMS

If an item is damaged upon receipt, we ask that you please call (562) 277-1382 or email customerservice@tideandpool.com and provide us with details so we can improve our shipping process. If you receive a damaged item, we will replace it, or you can exchange it for another item of equal value. After contacting customer service, please follow the return procedures listed above.

18. GIFT RETURNS

If you received a gift from tideandpool.com and would like to exchange it or receive store credit, please contact customer service at customerservice@tideandpool.com or (562) 277-1382.

19. ITEMS PURCHASED FROM ANOTHER RETAILER

Items purchased at any store selling TIDE & POOL merchandise may not be returned to tideandpool.com. Please refer to the store’s return or repair policy and contact them directly. They should be able to assist you with your return or repair.

20. PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

TIDE & POOL will honor a one-time price adjustment for any item marked down on tideandpool.com within 14 days of the purchase date of your original order. To receive a price adjustment, please contact TIDE & POOL at customerservice@tideandpool.com and refer to the order number found on your packing slip or order confirmation email. Some promotions may be excluded.

26. DOES TIDE & POOL TAKE TELEPHONE ORDERS?
